Congratulations to Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, our eminently and uniquely qualified 116th Supreme Court Justice and the first Black woman to be elevated to the highest court in the land. This a monumental moment in our nation’s history and one that is long overdue; it is a moment that means a great deal to the Children’s Aid community. As the sixth woman and second woman of color to be confirmed to the Supreme Court, Jackson will bring much-needed diversity and life experience to the bench.
