New York – Ayala’s Herbal Water encourages New Yorkers to get involved in helping to provide disadvantaged children the means to a nutritional diet by contributing to Ayala’s Herbal Water’s donation campaign for The Children’s Aid Society. Ten percent of the gross profit from Ayala’s Herbal Water sales in the six Whole Foods Market locations in New York City during September 2009 will go to The Children’s Aid Society’s “Go!Healthy” program.
The Children’s Aid Society is a non-profit organization that helps children in need by filling the gaps between what they deserve and what life has dealt them. The Go!Healthy program serves New York City’s low income neighborhoods and communities by teaching children and families about fresh, delicious, healthful foods and by providing nutritious snacks and meals to 2,000 children daily. Other initiatives include offering classes for children and families to learn about preparing healthy food choices, as well as student-run farmer’s markets.
The “Go!Healthy” program’s mission is aligned with Ayala’s Herbal Water’s commitment to providing healthful and natural foods. Ayala’s Herbal Water’s unique sugar-free, calorie-free, preservative-free herbal water provides people with the opportunity to indulge themselves while making healthy lifestyle choices. The delicious taste of each unique flavor shows children that drinks can taste good without sugar.
This partnership is the perfect opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many children while enjoying a healthy and delicious alternative to sugar-filled drinks. The six participating Whole Foods Market locations are:
- Bowery, 96 East Houston St.
- Chelsea, 250 7th Ave.
- Columbus Circle, 10 Columbus Circle
- Tribeca, 270 Greenwich St
